Vicki Livermore

Grade A DVSA Approved Driving Instructor

Vicki trained and became an Instructor in 2004 in the Belvedere area of Kent. After a year of being with a local firm she joined AA Driving School. Whilst with the AA she became the local coach for other instructors in the local area. This included instructing new instructors on how to improve their business.

In 2006 she became a Driving Instructor Trainer, teaching other people to become instructors. She also got her Fleet licence, which allows her to assess company drivers, including Royal Mail drivers.

During 2010 Vicki moved up to Cumbria and started to teach learners in the Kendal and Lancaster areas. She also carried on Instructor Training and Fleet work whilst in the area.

In 2011, she moved back down to Kent, and after 6 years with the AA she was head hunted by a local Kent driving school to undertake their Driving Instructor Training program. Along with Carl Malley she produced the course, which was assessed by the DVSA and given an ORDIT register. During 2015, Vicki under took her Standards Check test and received a Grade A with a score of 51/51.

In 2017, Vicki, along with Carl, moved back up to Cumbria, and they both joined with Paul Jackson at Pace Driving School. Paul was trained mostly by Vicki, with some help from Carl, to became an Instructor. It was always Paul’s idea that when they moved back up to join with him at Pace.

Carl Malley

Grade A DVSA Approved Driving Instructor

Carl has been a Driving Instructor since 2003. He trained and passed his exams to become an instructor in a Glasgow and for a short time gave lessons in the Argyll and Bute area. He moved to Lancashire in 2004 and was teaching around Blackpool and Preston for about a year. He then joined AA driving school and started to teach around Lancaster and Morecambe.

With the AA he became a Driving Instructor Trainer, Fleet trainer and local coach. He then became part of the AA train the trainer team, who teach other instructors how to train people to become Instructors. Around 2006 he became for the AA a regional coach for Scotland, which including organizing meetings for the AA instructors based in Scotland.

In 2010 he moved down to the Medway area of Kent and joined Kinetic Driving School, and along with Vicki Livermore, created Kinetics Driving Instructor training course, which had a very high pass rate for new instructors.

In 2017 Carl and Vicki moved back up to Cumbria and joined with Paul Jackson at Pace Driving School. At his last Standards Check test, Carl got a Grade A with a score of 47/51.
